Matthews Has A New Home

Wide receiver Rishard Matthews had gone from a top receiver for the Tennessee Titans over the last two seasons, to a nobody on the roster this year, causing him to force and receive his release from the Titans, placing him out of the league – temporarily.

However, Matthews has become a new target now for Sam Darnold with the New York Jets. Matthews will be playing along-side receivers Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson, looking to help a wide receiving group that is banged up.

The veteran receiver has 228 career receptions for 3,147 receiving yards and 21 receiving touchdowns, bringing experience for the rookie quarterback Darnold.

Although Matthews will see some playing time, you might want to give him a few weeks before adding him to your fantasy team.
