Eagles Lose Pass Rusher

The lumps keep coming for the Philadelphia Eagles. This time it is to the defensive line, as Derek Barnett, defensive end, has been lost for the season as he was placed on IR, needing surgery for a torn rotator cuff.

Barnett had started in six games this year, missing week 5 with what the Eagles deemed as a shoulder issue. Through those six games, Barnett had 2.5 sacks and 17 tackles, teaming up with fellow defensive ends for the Eagles in Chris Long, Brandon Graham and Michael Bennett to form a massive pass rush for the Eagles.

Now, the Eagles must decide if they keep the three man pass rotation for the rest of the season, or try to make a trade for a defensive end.
