Defense Of Giants Takes Another Hit

It is almost like the entire normal defense of the New York Giants will be missing on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

After trading cornerback Eli Apple to the New Orleans Saints and trading defensive tackle Damon Harrison to the Detroit Lions earlier this week, the Giants have also ruled out starting middle linebacker Alec Ogletree with a hamstring injury.

Ogletree is a big loss considering he has been on the field for 437 of 438 plays this season, is second on the team in total tackles with 48 and second on the team with tackles for loss with three.

With Ogletree out, this is not the plan the Giants had for defeating the Redskins.
